How to write a trick tip
If you look on the site you will see a lot of trick tips, but most of them are not well explained and therefore just useless. To write good trick tips you should just follow a couple of steps.
1. Explain how the trick works. If you want to explain really difficult tricks it's best to explain how the board should move.
2. The Stance, how do you stand on the board. Please don't use the words "left foot" and "right foot". Cause if you're goofy and someone's regular its very anoying. So use the words Frontfoot and Backfoot.
3. Explain the flip or grind as detailed as possible, not like "Pop the board and land in a darkslide". Those tips aren't gonna help anyone.
4. Explain the balance (with a grind)
A good example is a feeble grind, you don't say with this trick "Ollie and land in Feeble, slide along the rail and land". With grinds it's important to explain the balance.
5. Pictures and Movies, it's very helpful to send in pictures and movies, it makes it a lot easier to understand.
6. Explain problems you will face, a lot of skaters don't know what they do wrong, so explain.
Follow these steps, and make GOOD trick tips.
Be Creative!

If you created a trick tip, just post it here.
Note 1: Only trick tips with pictures and/or a video will be added.
Note 2: Please check first if there's not already a good trick tip! There's no point in writing a new one if there's already a good one, while there are tons of bad ones... :)
Thanks! (Y)

Yes I can and your videos are much appreciated.
But actually, your video is a backside boardslide, and maybe a tip for the future: put your camera a bit further away so we can see the complete trick from beginning to end. :)
ok thanks for telling me it really is bs o i didnt know .... thanks
do you want me to make another video so that you can see me get on the rail and stuff?

heres a trick tip for a caveman
Play video
this is the video for it
Caveman
Requirements:
1. The ability to ride a skateboard
2. The ability to jump
Description: A caveman is when a skater is walking around and he/she jumps onto his/her board and rides away
How to:
1. Start walking or jogging at a comfortable pace
2. Lift up your board by the nose in front of you
3. Jump forward and in mid air level out your board and put your feet up against/on it
4. Let go of the board and push down with your legs so that it hits the ground with you on it
5. Ride away
Problems that can occur:
1. You land and the board goes in front of you
- Lean forward more when you land
2. You land and the board goes behind you
- Lean back more when you land
3. You land and your board is sideways (causing you to fall)
- Jump forward more and keep your hand and the board straight out in front of you
4. You don’t land on the board
- try to get you feet on the board while in the air so they are on when you land
Tips:
After doing this for a while your board can snap.
- To prevent this from happening try not to land in the middle of the board but land on the bolts with your feet.
I've got some I'd like to share: vid's and pic's will come soon(I promise)

and another one...
Casper
Casper is a freestyle skateboarding trick that was invented by Bobby "Casper" Boyden in the late 1970s. Bo back foot from the board and uses his front foot to turn the board back to its normal position with a motion that resembles an impossible. The board is turned upside down with the tip of the tail on the ground acting as a fulcrum, the front foot under the front of the board holding it up acting as the effort, and the back foot resting on top of the back truck as the load. Note that the skateboarder's feet never touch the ground during this trick.
Nowadays they do it with a kickflip or heelflip motion (it's easier to do it with a kickflip motion).
1. ok to do a casper you can either standstill or making speed, not that what the info above just said: The skateboarder's feet never touch the ground during this trick.
so keep that in mind!
2. the easy way is to flip your deck like a kickflip, but instead of a normal kickflip you should kick down, that way your front foot is already UNDER YOUR DECK!
3. try to land with the back foot on the tail(if you land it on your truck you'd do a truckstand which is way harder) and catch your deck with your frontfoot on the grip(still under your deck).
4. keep the nose up and keep your backfoot on the deck ( STILL DON'T HIT THE GROUND WITH YOUR FEET!).
5. Balance
6. flip it out, this can be done by pulling your front foot up so the deck would flip a bit like an impossible, but you can do it by trying any flip BUT DON'T FLIP TO HARD(that'll make it harder to land)!
7. Land It
8, Try It Again And Impress Your Friends!

Body Varial (pop) Shove It
Body Varial shove it and Body Varial Pop Shovit are one of the less comon tricks you'll see on the street. Most skaters rather do a Bigspin than this trick. The trick is bassicly a 180 with your body and a shovit(or pop) but in a counter way(so the shovit turns the other way than your body goes!)
To Learn This you must master:
- The Pop Shuvit or Shove It
- Turning 180 with your body
- decent control over your skateboard
0.stand still or just skate on decent speed
1. go in to shovit or pop shovit stand
2. while making a pop shovit/shovit you jump yourself in a 180 while your deck goes the other way ( so when you make a bs shovit you'll go fs with your body, and when you're making a fs shovit your body goes bs).
3. look down to your deck and make sure you land it!
4. Land it
5. Now try a Body Varial 360 Shovit (the same concept only you'll do a 360 (pop) shovit)
Good Luck!

Coffin
This isn't really a trick that'll impress much, it's rather a fun-to-do.
A Coffin is when the skater lies with his back on the skateboard while riding.
Here I'll tell you how to do this without touching the ground.
1. make speed.
2. while riding, grab with both hands your deck, best is using your front hand(the one above your front leg) grabbing the nose.
3. sit down on your deck, once you've got this you're pretty far right now( but still don't touch the ground!)
4. put your arms next to you like when you're going off a slide and grab the side of the deck with both hands so you can easier turn
5. lean back with your upper body so you will lie(or at least looks like you're lying)
6. grab the deck with your front hand the nose(yeah between your legs)
7. try to stand up while riding and not touching the ground
8. adjust your trick bit so it would be more comfortable
good luck!
