*Sigh* Well I just posted this earlier today, and it was a lot of writing, so I don't really feel like retyping how I learned kickflips, because I used to have the same problem. So I am just gonna copy and paste my previous post. First off, start by focusing only on ollieing into the kickflip and getting a proper flip. Don't worry about landing yet, just ollie and flick off the start of the nose while ollieing. Flick mostly straight of the concave. And try to land next to the board, after it does it's full rotation, instead of on it at this point. Try to land in the same position you would if you were landing on the board. After you've got that down, which shouldn't take very long, then go in for the land. What you want to do when trying to land this is first off picture yourself doing a nice clean kickflip, and landing it and rolling away. Then do the same thing as you did before, where you just landed next to it, but this time try and land on it. Just keep trying and eventually you will get it, and it feels amazing. One more thing, bend your knees. This part is really important for all tricks, and will help your tricks look nicer and get higher. Oh yeah one more thing haha, it's probably best to learn these moving. That is because most of the time you will be doing them moving, and it's got different balance than standing still and doing them. The momentum from you moving makes it easier to land (for me at least). Okay well umm I actually just thought of a few more things haha. If you're having trouble landing the kickflip moving, then you could try it while holding a bar behind you. It's really easy this way, and you should land them in no time doing this. However, you're gonna want to get them moving as soon as you can. And finally the last tip, keep your balance centered. If you lean back then they are gonna suck and be hard to land, same with if you lean forward. What you want to do is look straight forward, don't look at the nose or tail just look straight at the center of the board. And keep your balance centered. This really helps with landing kickflips. Also check out the Ultimate Kickflip Guide here on these forums. It's pretty helpful. Just keep trying and you will get it eventually.
