When you popped, your tail didn't even hit the ground. Try popping harder and sliding your foot up so you can get off the ground and level out. Your slide is pretty good though. Good luck.

you could of slide your front foot to go longer. That was really good for just starting out

Yeah, it's your back foot's fault :L they board can only go as high as your feet leave the ground, if I were you I wouldn't practice on any surface other than cold, hard concrete because learning on other surfaces teaches you bad habits. I learnt to kickflip on carpet, and from then on, my kickflips were atrocious and it took me about 2 months of hard work a year later to correct them ;) just a little piece of advice (L)

many tips I could give... but try them all to find out what helps best: 1. pop harder 2. Jump higher 3. use your front foot when it reach the highest point 4. keep trying 5. if you can't jump higher than your ollie, train your legs to jump higher. people can't ollie higher than they can jump(without skateboard) good luck and tell me which one is the best, multiple tips can be used.
