Blank Deck

im thinking of buying a blank but not totally sure. can you guys tell me what you think of blanks?

Blank decks are almost the exactly the same as other boards except they don't have fancy materials put into them (bamboo, kevlar, etc.) and they have no graphic. It's basically a board with no name brand. You should check blankdecks.com for blankdecks as they have the best ones and a variety of decks to choose from. I recommend getting the California blank as it's really cheap and standard. Good luck!

A friend of mine bought one but broke it after skating 3 or 4 times by doing a heelflip. Durability: + + - - - Pop: + + + - - Graphics: + - - - - Graphic durabilty: + - - - - score: just under avarage

Really? My friend had his for a bit under a year before it started chipping and then it snapped after trying to kickflip off a ledge. Maybe it was a bad quality board?

Don't they have much pop? Plus if you try to slide then it will wear down the wood 'cos there's nothin to slide on so I don't think they'd be that good. Ignore my advice if you want but I'm just sayin!

They r just as good as a pro board just cheaper.But if u want one that fitz how u skate it might be hard because skate shopz just buy one type.But there really good

Yeah they have a lot of pop and what do you mean there's nothing to slide on? You wear down the wood on any board when you grind & do tricks in general. @Liquid That makes sense; especially if it isn't new. I've never tried Deathwish boards though or Krooked. I want to though :P

check out ccs. they have cheap blanks and some are made from bamboo

CCS is a rip off. Everything in CCS is ten dollars more then it should be.
