They are set high because everything's coming out of my own pocket at the moment, on top of the $1500 yearly webhosting bill. I removed a lot of advertisements to make the site a bit more enjoyable, but the money has to come from somewhere.

yea and If your a regular user on this site you should get enough coins over time so there is no need to rush to the next 100 points with topics that aren't really useful not saying you do useless topics because your doing awesome so far so keep up the good work. (Y)

Kris this site is great I would say to put as many adverts on as you want.

They pay you to put their ads on your site. If it cost to put ads on your site there is literally no benefit to doing that.

I might re-evaluate the current ad system at the end of the year, but I'll never overdo it. :P
