Chat suggestion

I think it would be a good idea to be able to chat to friends on this website, if you want i would be able to help by writing html code to make the chat work but it's up to the webpage owner. If you would join my poll it would help

There is no html code for a chatroom, it requires a flash client that communicates with a server socket. I once started the development of a chatroom, but it takes too much work for a side-feature of the site. :)

You're not the first person to bring up this idea, it was brought up over two years ago I believe and also recently by some newer users as well :P I think it would be time consuming for Kris and it would take up a lot of space on the server, which means there would have to be an upgrade to a bigger, more expensive server. Then to pay for that there would have to be more ads or whatever and that could lead to a lower quality H2S. But I think the Shouts + Guestbook work pretty well as a form of chatting as most of us don't live in the same time zones anyways :P
