Hi everyone, I'm a newbie here. I found this great site two days ago. 
I play the Tony Hawk's video game since I was 11 years old but I never interested in trying to be like him, be a skater.
But!! Now, after seeing my friends here, I became curious to try it.
So, I'll safe my money to get my first skateboard next week.

That's great that you'll be saving up to pick up your first board. Come here for great advice and trick tips.
And also a quick tip for your first buy. Get the best trucks and wheels because that's what will be getting stressed a lot from the ground. Darkstar wheels are good and Tensor trucks.
Find a good deal on any 7ply board. At this stage you will not be jumping down any stairs so don't get any tech boards. A blank is always a great buy. As you get better just swap out the board and keep the trucks and wheels.
So have fun, try out a friends board, read the rules, don't spam, and as you get better pass on the help.
