griptape painting

is it bad to paint your griptape with spray paint?

No, it may lose a bit of grippiness but it's hardly noticeable. It's perfectly fine to spray paint your grip, but I recommend doing it actually on the grip, as in before it's attached to the board. That way, it's not as big of a hassle if you mess up ^^ Good luck!

lol, it's probably cause you live in the glorious nation of skating, where all the pavements are smooth and clean, here wherever you are it's wet, dirty and horribly rough, which means razor tail and messed up grip, i hate getting muddy grip, it's nasty! however hard i try it's impossible to keep clean :D
