start out small, wok your way up :) don't go and spend 2k on a camera just yet, start with a phone, then buy a shitty camcorder with a fisheye, and editing's pretty simple with iMovie, Windows Movie Maker or Sony Vegas (along with many others)

I already have a flip camera

I know for the Flip Ultra you can get a fisheye which can definitely help with the filming process. Practice filming while riding so you can have a steady ride, or if you want you can just use a tripod, which will get you a consistent/not-shaky video but bad angles. What specific problems do you have with your edits btw? Sound, Filming, Editing programs, or other problems?
