How to bail
There are 2 things you've got to remember when a trick is going wrong:
1: Get that board out of the way. You really don't want to land with one foot or something like that, so when you're doing a flip or something and catch it, bail out by stretching your legs to the front- or backside. You can disagree with this, but there are many ways to bail out.
2: Feet always first. If you're falling down, always try to land on your feet. Don't dive or something.. when you're out of balance with a grind always jump off with your feet in front of you. Never jump off when your balance is in front of you. If you do you pay in flesh.
There are also some other things:
If you're stepping on your board out of balance and riding to something, it's best to stop and try it again.
Never catch your full weight with your arms.. it hurts really really bad, so try to roll over when you land, and always bend your knees.
If you have any more tips comment on this tip.

personaly i find bombing hills rather fun but almost every time i've taken a large hill i've had to bail and my scarred knees will tell ya its better to just roll so long as you keep your head tucked in just right and land rolling on your shoulder you won't have a problem one time i actually did one and a half front flips before touching the ground landed on my right shoulder and flipped back onto my feet and still skidded for like 5 feet it hurt like hell but it was better than smashing my face at like 35 miles per hour ( yes gravity will drag my 220 pound ass down a hill pretty damn fast lmao ) Last edited by kakashi 1 years ago |
