How to get sponsored
Lets see I got sponsered recently by a skate shop, but thats not always everyones case. Some people are extraordinarily good, so they get seen by top pro's, top companies, etc...
Some people resort to sponser me tapes: not a bad thing at all.
But I went in the shop, and asked if they sponser people, they said yeah we do, I said, can I give it a shot...definately.
So we go outside the mall (the shop's inside), so not only is it illegal to skate, but there are cops all over, but whatever.
There was a 5 set and a 7 set right out front luckily for me. I took advantage of them: Bs flip the 5, kickflip the 7, 360 flip off the curb, half cab manual up the curb to kickflip off the curb...and it came almost as easily as that... I through down some other things too, but don't feel like mentioning. So we get my "papers" and I go home and fill it all out.
O yeah by the way, I found out a bit more about this. There's actually a team for this thing, and they do demos. So look who's gonna be demoing around PA.
So all in all it's pretty fun, as of now...
The good part: the credit system. I earn credits for anything in the store every week, so in a few weeks I could have a complete setup, completely free
