Faster bearings

Bearing cream is already pretty cheap, but you can do it cheaper (and better!).

I wanted to clean my bearings, but oil and soap failed. But my next attempt proved to be the ultimate way to clean bearings. It doesn't have to be expensive, 3 dollars for 1 ounce of bearing liquid. All you need is gasoline. Yes, gasoline.

I first filled a small circular container with about an inch of gas. I placed the bearings in the gasoline with the covers taken off. Then for about 10 minutes, spin the bearings in the container. The dirt will accumulate into the middle. Poke a stick in one of the bearings and sort of stir them, that's why you need a circular container. You'll see the dirt floating sooner or later.

Just let them soak overnight. Don't leave it in a warm area condition, I've never experienced a fire, but it makes me sound responsible saying that.

By the time you realize your skateboard isn't put together, get your super bearings and take them out of the gas and dry them with some old rags.

Get a stick or pencil, and spin the bearing on the stick. If it barely moves, stir it in the gasoline for a few minutes, because the dirt probably got back in it.

Now, just put your covers back on, and put your bearings in your wheels. Enjoy the feel of the smooth, fast bearings!

I pretty much do the same thing only with vodka when it gets dry outside. So yah if you dont have gasoline u can use vodka, dont drink it after cleaning bearings tho :D

1 problem dude just you didnt metion putting oil in like wd-40 to protect it cos if you let em go without oil the mite just stop and you'll have 1 sore head hey oh and by the way the best oil is Lanotec so yer

this is the way i do it get like a powerade bottle or something put some [u]mineral turpintine[/u] in this is the best cos its made to get the paint out of paint brushes and it gets the oil out awesomely then put the bearings in then shake man for a while take em out and put a bit of oil or grease on and ride fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D (Y) (Y) (Y)
