How to bail
When you're skateboarding, there's always a chance that things go wrong. It's part of the game and there's nothing you can do about it.
However, there are some things you can do to reduce the damage.

There are 2 things you have to remember when a trick goes wrong:
- Get that board out of the way. You really don't want to land with one foot or land on the side of the board. When you're doing a trick and you know you won't make it, bail out by stretching your legs to the front- or backside.
You can disagree with this, but there are many ways to bail out. - Feet always first. If you're falling down, always try to land on your feet. Don't dive. When you're out of balance with a grind always jump off with your feet in front of you. Never jump off when your balance is in front of you. If you do, you pay in flesh.

Some things to remember:
- If you're stepping on your board out of balance and riding to something, it's best to stop and try it again.
- Never catch your full weight with your arms.. it hurts really bad, so try to roll over when you land, and always bend your knees.
