Metal coated ledge

This metal coated ledge is easy to build, but strong enough to withstand years of intense griding.

To make this ledge, you'll need:

  • 1x metal plate in hook: length of your own choice
  • 2x long wooden blocks: the same lenght as the metal plate
  • 5x litle wooden blocks
  • Lots of screws
  • 2x drill: size 5 and 9
  • Screwdriver (electric)
  • 4x metal hooks

Take the metal plate, drill holes in it. Drill a little bit with the size 9 drill to make sure that the screw is in the plate. When you grind it, you won't get stuck behind it.

Take the long wooden blocks and 3 little blocks and screw them together. This will be the base of your ledge, with 3 blocks between the 2 long blocks.

Screw the metal plate on the base. Attach the other blocks with the metal hooks to improve the stability of your ledge.

Have fun with your brand new ledge!
