Use your head
A donkey doesn't bump into the same stone twice. So why would you?

When you're learning a new trick, making the same mistake 1000 times doesn't get you anywhere. Instead, try to think about what's going wrong and try to correct it.
Some examples:
- You're practising the shove-it, but the board doesn't make the full 180 degree rotation.
Think about it, then correct: spin harder. - You're working on your kickflip, but the board always goes too much forward.
Think about it and correct: don't kick it forward as much and put your back foot more on the tail to push the board back a little when you pop.
When you read it, it makes sense, right? But still too many people forget to think, and they will keep making the same mistake time after time.
