About Modest Mouse

Modest Mouse is an indie rock band from America, who have slowly been building in cd sales and fans ever since 1993.

They have released 5 studio albums, and with their second most recent, Good News For People Who Love bad News, gained mainstream success.

The lead singer Isaac Brock has a distinctive raspy voice and quite often shouts. Vocals however are the only thing that stays constant with this band though, as each album, sometimes even each song, can sound completely different, especially with the introduction of Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr in the recording of their latest album.

Also closely related to Modest Mouse is the band Ugly Casanova, a band invented by Isaac Brock to secretly produce songs separately from his record company despite the contract he had signed with them.
