Jack Johnson
Jack Johnson is a professional surfer, born in Hawaii. After a surfing injury only weeks after turning pro, he became a singer-songwriter.
His music is mainly acoustic and mellow. Most songs are slow and optimistic which makes this really good chilling out music.
Has released 4 albums since 2001, and his last, Sleep Through The Static shows a progression towards more use of electric guitar.
His music is part of the whole surf-songwriting culture, with similar artists being Matt Costa and Donovan Frankenreiter.
