Axle Stall skateboard trick tip
The following trick tip will show you how to Axle Stall. Reading this trick tip is just the first step to learn the Axle Stall, but know that you'll need lots of practise to land it.
The axle stall is an easy lip trick. It may seem difficult in the beginning, but if you can do it right, it could be a cooler way to turn on a quarterpipe.
Make sure you have enough of speed. Start in the ollie position.
Ok, you're riding on the pipe. Ride to the top. Don't go to fast or your board will be on the quarterpipe and you will fall.
When you're near the top, do a half kickturn. Your back truck should make contact with the edge.
Put your front truck also on the edge. Your both trucks should now make contact with the edge like you're doing a 50-50 on it. Lean backwards... if you don't do that, you will just kiss the rail and have to ride back down again.
Now you should do another half kickturn and ride back down.
Important: I said it before: Do NOT go to fast! I've really hurt myself going to fast for this trick!

That's so true. If ya go too fast, and you lean forward, you're going to get some bruised shins, and that hurts! This is a well explained trick tip, so thanks a lot for posting this! |
