540 flip trick tip

If you feel 360 flips are for kids, then this trick will be perfect for you.

540 flips are very difficult to land, and don't even think about landing them consistently.

Nevertheless, if you do manage to land a 540 flip, a lot of jaws will drop.

1. 1

   Start riding in the same position as for a 360 flip.
   
   



2. 2

   Crouch down and lean into the rotation with your knees. Get ready to shove.
   
   



3. 3

   Shove the board as hard as you can.
   
   



4. 4

   Slightly tap the heelside of the board with your front foot. But actually, the board will almost automatically flip.

   If you can catch the board in the air: awesome.
   
   

Tips

• 

  Keeping the board under you can be difficult. Only make controlled movements, no crazy wide swings.
