The following trick tip will show you how to Varial kickflip. Reading this trick tip is just the first step to learn the Varial kickflip, but know that you'll need lots of practise to land it.

Once you've mastered the kickflip, this one shouldn't be difficult. It's a combination of a kickflip and a backside shove-it.

The back foot position varies a little from the one from the kickflip. That's because you also have to shove the board.

First shove the board, but pop a little. If you can do this trick you can try to pop harder and go higher. When your board has done about 60 to 90 degrees, flip the board like you would do a kickflip.

Try to make sure the kickflip is complete before the board has done a complete 180 varial. Catch the board so it won't overflip. Bend your knees when landing.
