Crail stall skateboard trick tip

The following trick tip will show you how to Crail stall. Reading this trick tip is just the first step to learn the Crail stall, but know that you'll need lots of practise to land it.

The Crail stall is a variation between a fs tailstall and a crailgrab. Basicly it's a fs 180 tailstall with your back hand holding the nose. It's pretty tricky, but once you've got it, it's really fun to do.

A Crailgrab or Tailstall aren't really necessary for a Crailstall. But if you can do them, they are easier to learn.

Start up with your front foot in the middle of your board or something like that, just ride comfortable to the quarterpipe.



As you ride up the quarterpipe, move your back hand forward so it's easier to grab, and if you look at picture 2 you'll see that my upper body is allready turned.



Just before your front truck hits the coping pop your board when you do that use your back hand to grab the nose. This movement is almost simultaneously(at the same time).



Now your back hand is holding the nose and you're in the air. Now at this stage your body isn't directly over the coping, it's more hanging towards the pipe. Now move you're tail on the coping, this is't really hard. Also remember that you don't have to ollie really high but you need to move really fast.









So now you stand in a crail stall, good job, hold your nose and drop in. It looks better if you don't stand on the coping for a very long time, just move fast and drop in.
