Firecracker trick tip

Who said you need to ollie to skate down stairs? The firecracker is a fun trick for both beginners and advanced skaters, depending on the amount of stairs.

Riding down stairs makes the sound of firecrackers, hence the name.

1. 1

   Put your front foot near the bolts and your back foot on the tail.
   
   
   
   
   



2. 2

   Ride towards the stairs, and as your front wheels go over the first step, push your tail down a little to lift up the nose of the board (just a little).
   
   



3. 3

   Ride down the stairs on your back wheels.
   
   



4. 4

   Keep your balance untill the end, then just lean forward to ride on all four wheels again, or continue your manual.
   
   

Tips

• 

  Don't lean back too much, you don't need a real manual. The board should be almost horizontal.

• 

  Start small, even one step will work. Then work your way up to bigger stairsets.
