Varial kickflip trick tip
The varial kickflip is a combination of a kickflip and a shove-it.
Some people find them easier than normal kickflips, but it's still best to learn normal kickflips first.

- 1
Start riding at medium speed with your back foot on the toeside of the tail and your front foot on the heelside near the front bolts.

- 2
Crouch down and get ready to pop the board. Keep your shoulders in line with the board.

- 3
Pop the board with your back foot. You only need to shove a little, the board will already make the shove-it rotation from popping on the toeside of the tail.
Jump high enough to give the board some room.

- 4
Tap the heelside of the board with your front foot to make the board flip.

- 5
Try to catch the board in the air with both your feet and land with your feet on the bolts.

Tips

The pop, shove and flip are actually one combined movement.

Suck up your legs to give the board room to flip.
